I bought a 89 Chevy RS and have been slowly trying to fix it up. From day one I have been getting exhaust fumes inside. No one can seem to find where they are coming from. Is this a problem anyone else has had, and any suggestions ??? Thanx...

 

sounds like u got a leak! the only way to tell would be to run the car and before it gets real hot try to feel around the exhaust manifolds, y-pipe, catback etc to see if u can feel air forcing out, u should be able to hear where the exhaust is leaking by the sounds, it would be alil louder where the leak is...be prepared to get under the car when its running but dont touch the exhaust if u like the skin that u have, and make sure the car is properly jacked and supported, or u could just replace it all

 

Thanx Custom...I've had it checked out several times, but no one can seem to find where the leak is coming from...yeah I like my skin but I will try and listen for it myself...thanx...
