I have a 3.1 V6 91 RS Camaro and I am looking for anyone who has successfully swapped out this engine for a V8. I am also debating on which V8 to swap in 350 or 305. I don't know to much about what goes into this project and any information that anyone would be willing to put in would be great. I am looking for an engine that I can drive (relatively cheaply) and still have fun with on the weekends. Also my pockets arent to deep so I am also looking for any money saving tips/techniques. I am near the Cincinnati area so any performance parts stores near there would be great too. This is my first project car and first car. Thanks again. maro91

You're asking this in the Exhaust forum, which is half appropriate, since the V6 exhaust is worthless for a V8.

But, the real answers to your questions are found in the "Engine Swap" forum, of all things. Start by reading the "V6 to V8" sticky at the top of the forum.
