Engine: 305 5.0 LG4
Transmission: 200C 3 Speed
Axle/Gears: 2.93 Open Diff
Fitment..
Will a system to fit the 2.8/3.1 motor (a cat back by vortex) fit the 89 RS VIN E (tbi 305) fit without issue? its a 2.5" System?

Anything infront of the cat will not however
You may need a reducer to fit the rear outlet of the cat depending on the size you have now
If i remember right most 305's had 2.5" exhaust factory

Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
LG4, LO3, and '91 & '92 TPI single cat were 2.25". Most aftermarket systems bump that up to 2.5".
