Need help

Can anyone tell me how much flow / hp the hooker 2055's with the y-pipe can support. I installed the system with the 3" hooker catback on a 400 chevy. It feels like the engine chokes above 4700 - 4800 rpm. The cam is a comp extreme energy 12-262-4 (218/224 with a 114 lsa). The heads are 991's pocket ported with 2.02/1.6 valves. I am trying to determine if the engine combo is the limit or the exhaust. I don't want to invest in a custom real dual system if the engine combo is the problem and the results will be minimal. Thanks for any advice.

By the way, the car runs very strong and smooth from off idle to 4500. The power band seems to be 3000 to 4200 rpm. The torque is very flat. If the car short shifts from 1st to 2nd, power from the 2000 to 2600 seems a little soft for the enigne size. 700r4 with 3.23 gears.
