Engine: Vortec 355
Transmission: Th350
Axle/Gears: 3.42
Headmen header?
well lets see i have 350 in a 85 firebird. I already have headmen long tubes on the car. would it be cheaper to just go and buy the shortys with y pipe, or have a custom y pipe made for the ones i got? currently iam runnin open headers. i want the exhasut to look factory.

If you want it to look factory, about the only choice is shorties. Even then, it won't look factory under the hood, but the rest of it can look close.
There are some horror stories about the cost of an exhaust shop making y-pipes. They usually aren't mandrel bent, even. It isn't hard to get shorties with a y-pipe for less than just a custom fabricated y-pipe will cost.
For the record, it's "Hedman". And, they call their products "hedders". Got to be different, you know. . .
