Slip connector in primary?

I just recieved my Dougs longtube headers, and on the very back primary tube on the passenger side header, there is a slip connector in the middle of the primary, it does not look like it is welded. Is there a way I can check to see if it will leak, any ideas on a fix without sending them back?

Are thyey 2 piece headers?

I dont see why you wouldnt be able to weld the joint aside from being at a difficult spot

Re: Slip connector in primary?

Nevermine, that is how the headers are installed, there is a cut in the flange and that whole primary can be pulled out.
