Headers

Im getting ready to order headers for my '90 RS. I'm swapping the 3.1 with a sb350. I talked to the guy who did the exhaust on my old Cutlass, and he said he can run duals with full-length headers with no problem. I'm ok with that, but I need some help picking the right set. I don't really wanna spend more than $300, so here's what I'm looking at. All three are Hedman Hedders, and here are the Summit p/ns:
HED-68460

HED-68469

HED-68464

Why is there $100 between them? My motor's only making 375hp at the flywheel, so should I spend the extra money?

Thanks!

Re: Headers

Header #1 Standard everyday header w/ ball and flange connection (handy!)

Header #2 Same header but for a "D" port exhaust port (raised floor .100) Flat flange.

Header #3 Stepped header..primaries start at 1 1/2 and then step up to 1 5/8 dia. primary. Suppose to help build low end torque. Flat flange

The difference in price is due to the fact that they aren't just a standard header...they have some sort of variation from the standard model.

#2 is for Corvette aluminum heads and some aftermarket heads.

Re: Headers

Thanks, man....I ordered them yesterday. I searched for feedback on the tork-steps, and I didn't like what I found...I had hooker long-tubes on my Cutlass, but the only long tubes for a third-gen are too expensive. I'm glad to hear that you are happy with your Hedmans....that makes me feel better! I was hoping to have the engine swap done by spring, but I'm getting married in Sept and the supervisor has cut my Camaro budget!
