3 inch Exhaust

I want to put the flowmaster american thunder exhaust on my firebird and also want shorty headers and y-pipe. If you have any info on what brand to use or were to look for 3inch header and y-pipe combos please let me know.

Re: 3 inch Exhaust

SLP 30005C are nice and s.steel with the C being ceramic coated header. The 30005 are non-coated. Bothe have thick flanges, 1 3/4 pimaries and has a long y-type y-pipe that dumps to a 3" outlet. You can also get from SLP a s.steel matching elbow to slip fit the cat or test-pipe that is a 3" to 3" or a reducer from 3" to 2.5" dependent on your setup. The 3" would be yours as is mine. They are the best set ive ever had. Worth the $ IMO. Only other good option is long tubes which would be the Hooker Super Comps. But youll need a custom y-pipe. Seen these on E-bay and Mufflex sells them specific for different setups.
