Re: cant take header problem

Well for headers I like Headman. Hookers are considered a little better but not worth the extra $ in my opinion. Well you can get longtube headmans (summit part HED-68460). But note with longtubes you have to lift the motor to install. Another good option, not as good performance wise are shortys (summit part HED-68470). With shorties you can buy aftermarket y pipes, also from summit but im pretty sure your stock y pipe will work if not you can find shorties that will work with the stock y pipe.

As far as angle plug heads, in pretty sure you dont have them. Regular heads, the plugs screw straight into the head, Angle plug heads, the plugs screw in at an angle.

Re: cant take header problem

do not get a hack it up y pipe header. i made that mistake with buying dynomax blackjacks and they dont make a ypipe go figure so youre suppossed to cut weld or clamp your old ypipe to fit i looked at it and i find no way of it working. returned the crap bought hedmen with their matching ypipe. a lot better and still pretty cheap around i think 250 for all from jegs.

Hookers fit......that alone is worth the extra money!

Re: cant take header problem

Hedman, hooker and edelbrock (and probably a few more) all sell y-pipes to match their headers...
