Smog test exempt question
After the 24 year time has passed, and the sniffer test is no longer required, does the stuff like the smog pump, AIR tubes, have to stay on for visual? Or can they be removed?
I'm thinking of ditching mine when that time comes...which is only a few years away for me! I've got some non-AIR tube headers, and was wondering if I should hang to them for that day, and sell my AIR tube headers to somebody that needs them, or just sell the non-AIR tubes now?

Re: Smog test exempt question
Technically yes, as the emissions stuff on your car from the factory is a federal law, not a state law.
