89 Trans Am GTA cat back system

I have a 89 GTA with a 5.7 and dual cats. Does any one make a cat back system with two tail pipes thats not $500? I have seen the Flowmaster single tail pipe system for about $260 from summit. Has any one used this set up?

Hooker does not sell a dual cat system.

The cat-backs are similar, regardless of your cats. You're going to want a muffler shop to make the connection between your cats and the i-pipe, anyway. So get whichever system you like the sound of, and have it installed. No matter what they say in their advertising, nothing bolts together in your driveway and works perfectly.

SLP used to make a BOLT together cat back, that truely does bolt on in your driveway. The N10 Dual cats have a hog clamp that connects the cats to the intermediate pipe. It's a nice 3" cat back, with a straight through muffler, twin pipes exit on left side.

Maybe they'll make you up the system. It's not on their web site anymore, but I'm sure they still have the prints.

My Formula with dual cats has a Flowmaster American thunder catback on it. It was purchased at summit. I can dig up a part # for you if you want.
