What exaust set up should I go with?
First off Im saying this, I dont want a loud exaust, I want more of a tone, Im into sleepers so I dont want to give it away.. It has to be cheap, after all, I do need to save up for a 12 bolt
should I updrade to full 3'' inch catback? This would make me keep the cat..
should I go with 4'' catback? I would have to make it my self...
2.5'', 3'' dual? x pipe, h pipe?
Keep my 2.5 dynomax, run dumps/cut outs off the headers and when its time to play Un cap them?
Im on a tight budget, I still need to get my heads machined, and need to save up for a 12 bolt! so what do you think would be the most budget freindly, sleeper looking/sounding, and still allow me to kick ***?

What are you willing to give up? $'s? Ground clearance? Performance?
There ain't no free lunch. Hooker 2055HKR headers, a 3" aftermarket cat-back with a decent muffler, and a piece of 3" pipe to fill the space between the y-pipe and cat-back. Cost you about $700 or so, depending upon the cat-back and assuming you don't ceramic coat, will maintain ground clearance, will support a 406 that isn't too wild.
Hedman 1-5/8" long tubes would sacrifice a little ground clearance. Some 2-1/2" pipe pieces, a couple of 2-1/2" mufflers, some hangers, good flowing system for not too much money. But, there is that ground clearance thing - how important is that to you?
Or, SLP 1-7/8" ceramic coated shorty system, good 3" pipes & muffler the rest of the way. Supports the 400, good ground clearance, but many more $'s.

Re: What exaust set up should I go with?
The cheapest solution I've found (which I actually used) was to get some Edelbrock TES 6872 headers, use a die grinder to clean up the welding flash on the inside of the ports, then use a Carsound 3-inch slip fit catylitic converter along with a Hooker crossflow Aerochamber cat-back for single-cat applications. The sound is really good, and contrary to what a lot of people say, the TES works pretty well. It was good enough for 400 RWHP on the Livernois Dyno, which works out to about 460 at the crank.
You can get the whole shebang from Thunder Racing (A thirdgen.org sponsor, btw) for less than $700 brand new.
