Gutting The Muffler
Hey i was planning on cutting open my muffler and taking all the **** on the inside out, would this be insanly loud... or just a lil louder... i dont like how quiet my car is.. and want to do something more, it has 2.5" from the cat back. and i believe the Flowmaster 4000series or whatever... its stupid quiet for being a v8. 305.

I wouldnt consider it insanley louder but you will definetly notice a diference.

i personally wouldnt gut it. when i bought my car it had stock exhaust with a gutted muffler with two tips out the back, it sounded like a tractor. i have a 305 to. id just take the muffler out and if you want it louder put a glasspac in thats what i did for awhile. sounds better!
