header collector bolts vibrating loose!!!!!
I have Headman Shorties with true duals and an H-pipe and the nuts holding the exhaust pipes to the collectors keep vibrating loose. I am trying to get the car ready to sell and do not want to sell it to someone with this problem.will locktite or any thing like that hold up to the heat? I have tried double nutting it and regular lock washers, I am at a lose. any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: header collector bolts vibrating loose!!!!!
just do a small tac weld on the nuts. I was having the same problems with my headman LT's and this fixed it. and if done right, u can still break it lose to get it back off. just make sure to tac the head to the collector flang, not the threads.
