header help

i have an 87 camaro with a 350 truck engine in it and i was wondering if the headers from my 91 305 would fit on the truck engine. i heard something about sbc changing from circle holes to oval or vice versa ( the holes from the exhaust manifold )

Re: header help

Alright, I have an 89 IROC with right now now a 305 TBI. First off will short or long tube headers work best with a completely stock 305 TBI? Second, how are the pacesetter headers for the 3rd gen camaro? They have a good tone, but are they good on performance and flow. The exhaust system I will have will be the GMMG True Chambered, so with the pacesetter, it will have a racing tone. My other thought is the Hooker Ceramic coated, but mid size, long tube, full length, shorty, what is the different in performance and which is best for both a stock and an all-out power crate because whatever header I get for the stock 305, will be the same one on the Fast Burn 385 I will get. Thanks,

IROC-Z Racing
