Jegs Off Road Y-Pipe
Anyone know why the single cat pipe for the 3rd gen is listed to 89 only? I wanted to get one for my 92 TA since the stock pipe is so small and add a high flow cat.
Also - is there any issue with using it on a vert since it has the factory sub-frames?

After looking at that thing I would not call it a Y-Pipe anyway looks more like a T-Pipe. You will probably be better off with a set of headers and the matching Y-Pipe for them tham that monstosity.

But i think it would still be better than the small pipe on my stocker?
I would like headers, but there's too much pain involved with installing them.......

Hey Rich...
That T-connection will be no better than your factory pipe. You need a Y-connection if you want it to have any gain.
I've never seen a Y-pipe for factory manifolds, just for headers. No reason a local shop couldn't make a new one completely, or just cut yous before the T, then change it to a Y, but I doubt that little change will even give you any noticeable difference.
For that matter, buy a Y-piece, and change it yourself.
