dyno dual header back kit?

has anyone used this kit or heard anything about it. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...part=WLK-89009

looking at the instructions, it looks like it follows the stock location pretty much, so im thinking it would work(except have to have cats added in).

it seems like a good price thou, add in a set of their recommended black jack headers(suppose to be made to bolt right to it) and instead of their suggested super turbo mufflers i was going to use a set of Force Pro's that are the same size. just wondering if anyone has used these

the car i wanna put them on, is a 87 with a 350 from a 86 pickup in it(still the old style engine) with a holley 650 double pumper and a auto tranny, right now its a 700 but i plan on putting in a 350 this summer.

any feedback would be wonderful.

It's only 2 1/4", and it's not mandrel bent. A good single exhaust system would give the same power or more.

Re: dyno dual header back kit?

I actually have this kit for my camaro...although its not on the new camaro right now but when i had it i made some custom cuts and re welds to it and whatnot and i didnt have a problem with it. actually my mufflers on my camaro were in the back over the axle and underneth both sides of the car. other than the pipes being 2.25 inch it isnt that bad of a system

Re: dyno dual header back kit?

it being a 2 1/4 piping doesnt bother me, im looking at it more from the direct bolt on view, i cant find any other setups that are header back and i dont want to peice together a system and hope that it all fits the way it should.

did u have to make the cuts for it to fit or did you just choose too?
