Headers with factory Y Pipe

Headers with factory Y Pipe
Has anybody ever found a way that you can use your factory y pipe with a set of headers without doing to many modifications to it? What do you think is better to go with on a camaro, long tube or shortie headers? What brands do you recomend?

No header worth using could be connected to an unmodified factory Y pipe.

Hooker 2055HKR shorties with y-pipe are about as good as you can get. They come with a great y-pipe, so the only issues left are hooking up the rest of the exhaust (good time to replace it all with '86-'90 TPI single cat application parts).
