Questions-
Is 13/4 too big or should i go for 15/8?
Does any header manufacture make a long tube header with AIR fittings, i cant find one.
Where can i buy the AIR Fittings
I have a set of Doug Thorley TH 375-C 15/8 Y type header, should i just modify them?

Re: Need Help Exhaust Headers AIR

well when i had my elky I looked for them but the ones i could find were shorties and somewhat low flow. Let me be honest, I'm 90% sure you are exempt depending on your year (or if you live in CA). and since I'm in Ohio i ripped out the computer got a different carb and dist. then got true duals with no cat. then I ripped out the pollution pump and anything else i did not want. It ran 100% better and got better mpg

For the G body i highly suggest afterburner headers from holly with 2.5" pipe and a X over. But just use the ones you have.

G bodies sometimes did not use cats and the AIR system. I knew i guy with an all original Monte SS 84 that had no emissions at all, no cat no pump... nada. usually no one know the difference. they were kinda hit and miss. but if you have an 86 to 87 then you can't fool them .. it's too new. Good Luck! (lets see some pics.. i love the g body!)

p.s. I hope you don't still have the stock rearend b/c you go half throttle and that 7.5" will be toast!!!!
