SLP catback installed
I installed my SLP TOTL last Wednesday, and so far I'm really happy with it. I know a lot of people don't like this system because of how it has two tips on the driver's side rather than a tip on each side of the bumper. But whatever, I went with function over form and I like the way it looks. I like the way it sounds even better though. It has the exact sound that I was looking for. A very deep mellow tone that's not overly loud. It does get rather loud at higher RPMs though
. I actually bought it used from a member on here who had also bought it used from a member on here. So it's had more owners than my car has. But it's still in really nice shape. Being all stainless steel is nice too, so I won't have to worry about it ever rusting. I replaced the original cat with a new stainless one from Dynomax while we were under there as well. Anyway, here's some pics of the install. What do you think?

Wan't sure if I'd like the two tips on the driver's side like that, but I think it looks good.

Here it is from underneath. I think we got it tucked up under there pretty good.

Ive heard them B4 and like the sound. But I like the regular exit better. Never was a TOTL fan. Probably makes more HP tho. How was the quality?? Ive got 30005C headers and y-pipe from SLP. They are nice.

Re: SLP catback installed
forgive me for asking a question for something already answered, but i'm having trouble finding an exhaust clip for that SLP system. do you have one handy or know a quick link to one? i'm interested in the system and want know what it sounds like (i heard a low quality recording on here and thought it could potentially sound nice). thanks

Not sure if this is the one you already heard, but here's a sound clip: http://www.ls1sounds.com/SLP2otl/SLP...T4-hot-cam.wav It's from an LT1 with an LT4 cam, but it still sounds similar to an L98. Sorry I don't have a sound clip of mine though. But if you do decide to buy the system, I think you'll be happy with it.
Mikz86TA, Even with it being used and all, I was happy with the quality and you can tell it's a well-constructed setup. All the welds are nice and everything fit together really good.

Re: SLP catback installed
I've had that same system on my Formula for several years, actually bought it from little brother when his '91 was totalled. Right now it's a mix of the SLP pipe from the cat to the muffler and then a Flowmaster 2 chamber with 2OTL muffler and polished tips as I wanted something louder and deeper. Tips look sharp peeking out from under that GTA.
Re: SLP catback installed
I had my SLP Catback for six years now and it still sounds as good as day one. And the 2OTL gets people confused until they hear that 350.
