I want 2 put in flowmasters but is it true u cant pass smog in CA?
i want to instal flowmaster mufflers into my v6 90 firebird but i heard it cant pass smog is this true?...what shud i get instead....o and is it also true that after 20 years the car doesnt need to pass smog anymore?

A flowmaster muffler should not have a bad effect on the emissions output of the engine.
No, the only vehicles exempt from emissions testing are those 1975 or older. With the current laws, our cars will never be exempt from emissions testing.
