Man that upsets me...I thought i had the parts done but apparently not....So these headers dont come with the 02 Sensor slot? Well looks like its back to the drawing board

Just mark it where it needs to be and take it to an exhaust shop before you install them, they will weld in a bung for cheap its not that big of a deal, $20 at the most! Bungs are like $8 so drill the hole yourself and buy a bung from autozone and just have them weld it in!
I cant find this bung you speak of...So when i buy this i take the headers to a exhaust shop and they will put it in for me?? Were does it go?

Why would I provide you with a link for a part you specifically asked for, and link you to the wrong part?
BTW, Might as well replace the O2 sensor while your doing all this. I would even do a tune up and replace the cap, rotor, plugs, and wires too.

Yeah i know lol I love you for holding it though haha This is just my first time modifying anything other than the spark plugs and air filter haha....Ok the 02 Sensor is brand spanking new maybe a month old but new...Also the just confirming the outlet on the Y Pipe for the 2055's is 3" correct? Yes put bung in y pipe...install headers with y pipe and then mark where it needs to go and take y pipe off, drill hole, weld in bung. Make sure it is in a place where you can get to o2 sensor thats why I say install y pipe and mark where it needs to go!!!

All of the emissions-legal headers I'm aware of put the O2 sensor in the collector.

Not sure what you're trying to say. At any rate, the factory never put it in the y-pipe - it's in the manifold.

One issue is, if you put the O2 sensor to far from the engine block, it won't heat up enough. Problem solved by using a heated O2 sensor.
That's why I suggested putting it on the header collector, and not in the y pipe. So you can keep your 1 wire O2 sensor.

I uninstalled my Air pump about 8 years ago and have never thrown a code. I took the air tubes off those cast logs about 2 yeas ago. I have had my EGR unhooked for about 7 years. I just installed a set of Non Air SLPs and also no code. Basically I have no emmisions controls except a new high flow cat. I had to ge one to pass emmsions this go around. So, F the smog police I say. The SLP install as fun. The engine bay on the driver side was tighter than a nuns couchie.

After doing my weekly saturday maintenance(Checking oil,p steer,tire press) I looked at the 02 Sensor location...Its right before the flange on the driver side manifold...So im thinking mount the new sensor right before the collector on the new headers? Most headers for our cars already have a bung welded in there for the o2 sensor. If you don't have one then mounting a one wire o2 on the DS header before the collector should have enough heat. If not than get a three wire o2 sensor and it will heat itself. I would say you'll be fine though.
