is it possible
Forgive me but my car is in kentucky and i am in lousiana. I want to put a pair of long tube hedman hedders (part # 68460) and strait dual 3in. exhaust. Also I was wondering which sounds better glasspacks or flowmaster super 44. I would also like to know which one is louder. Will there be any ground clearence problems or will there be anything that i would need to make a sharp bend around.

long tubes with dual 3" exhaust on a 305 engine? thats crazy, you would make more power with stock manifolds and single 3" exhaust. and also ground clearance would be horrible. your best bet would be to get a set of shorty headers along with a 3" catback. and go with the flowmaster, sounds way better than glasspacks IMO.

Re: is it possible
The reason I want to go with the long tubes and the dual 3in. is I am going to put a new motor in it. I havent made up my mine on a motor to build yet. It will be at least a 383 but it could be a 434 small block. I am about to go to iraq so I will have more than enough money to do whatever I want to the car when I get back. The motor will have some cnc ported aluminum heads, a hydraulic roller cam with about 230 to 240 duration @ .050, about 10.5 to 1 CR, and a performer rpm air gap intake.
