can anyone tell me where to find a rear mounted turbo?

i've been trying to find a rear mounted turbo for a 3.1L V6 Camaro 1990 model.

can anyone tell me where to find one?

also, what all mods do i need to do in order for the car to handle it w/o damaging anything?

thanks!

Really doubtful. Though it's not like a little fab work wont fix that.

Then you'll need a way to oil the turbo if the kit doesnt already come with that.

Then you'll need bigger fuel injectors and a high flow fuel pump

Then you'll need a custom ecu like a megasquirt or rom tuner so you can control the fuel and timing

then you'll need a wideband o2 sensor so you can accurately monitor your AFR

then you'll need to go to the dyno for some tuning.

it's already got a hypertech chip in it, 3/4in roller cam, 440crane stainless steel crank, ported heads, forged pistons, lighter rods and piston rods. 4spd automatic tranny

oh, then you'll still need everything i listed, including a way to tune the ecu.

And then you'll likely need a new (larger) mass airflow sensor.

I've heard that the rear mounted turbos aren't quite the best for power - but for ease, they rank up there.

It does come with a oil line so the turbo remains lubricated.

For some more info, here is an article from CHP: http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/te...rbo/index.html
