Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: stock 10 bolt with 2.73 gears
what kind of headers will fit on a 1974 350
Can I use the 2460-1HKR Hooker Headers on this block or will they not fit?

yea any year SBC can have the same headers except the new lsx series

They dont have to be D-port, but they do have to be larger than the exhaust port itself. You dont want small headers that dont cover up the port, or you'll have leaks.
Member Dyno Don is making 1 3/4" headers that fit the aftermarket heads with d-shaped raised exhaust ports. Search out the post in the exhaust forum about "1 3/4" header options" to see them. Another batch is currently being made, so it shouldnt be long now.
