2460's

From what I've read the 2055 are the way to go, but it seems as tho the biggest reason people stay away from the 2460's is the y pipe...with that said if a custom y pipe was virtually free would the 2460's be a good choice?

Re: 2460's

the 2460's are pretty similar to the 2055's in my opinion...how different can they be when they're made for the same application? and yes the better fitting y-pipe is why most people glorify the 2055's. If you can score the custom y-pipe real cheap, the 2055 guys will have nothing on you

Re: 2460's

awsome...kinda know some people at a shop that will make one up for me while there doing the rest of the exhaust so i figured i would throw the old headers out and go with some new ones but 700 dollar price tag for the 2055 and getting the air caped off was a little to much to swing for me.

Re: 2460's

The y pipe is extremely easy to modify (Cut off 2.5" section, install 3" section, and you have a better flowing system then 2055's). If you don't need air tubes, imho 2460's are they way to go.

Re: 2460's

Thanks...I can probally get the y pipe made for less than I could buy it...what with shipping charges and everything (canada) so it's no problem...I was just wondering why everyone wasn't really using them. They will be my next purchase tho thats for sure.
