Re: single to dual ???

Yes, you can run two pipes along each side of the driveshaft. If you consider putting in true dual you should also consider LT header as well, otherwise just stick to the Y pipe. I recently bought the Stainless Work LT headers from Hawks (I had Edlebrock 1 5/8 shorties before) and have my local muffler shop put in a custom 2 1/2 inch stainless exhaust system including dual cats and X pipe. The car now runs so much quieter without and obnoxious fume or loss of ground clearance and picked up close to 30 whp at the end. This is the single best mod I have ever done to my car, it gained even more horsepower than installing the AFR 195 head.

Re: single to dual ???

o cool, ok so then i can run true dual, but i need to get a muffler shop to run it...that sounds good, but if i go true dual then should it be the 3"or 2 1/2"? i guess the questions now is which is better, and im expecting somehting lik its a personal choice, but i dont now the pros or cons of eighter, so thats why im asking
thank you

Re: single to dual ???

2 1/2 or 3 inch, that is the question. It all depends on the ultimate goal of your built; if you target up to 500 hp, 2 1/2 inch is more than adequate and 3 inch dual is good to 800 hp. Or put it another way, 2 1/2 inch for N/A motor and 3 inch for blown.
