Trick exhaust hanger idea.
Just something I came up with that is real simple to fab up for those who took off their cat and want to run a test pipe. I didn't want to keep the flare fit flange when I bought my new Flowmaster system so I cut it off and had the local exhaust shop make a slip fit end on it instead. With know flange you loose the mounting holes for your mount that comes off the side of your trans. After staring at it for about 15 minutes this is what I came up with. Using one of the exhaust clamps that came with my system I took 2 steel bushings out of an old pair of shocks, placed them 2 1/4" apart, slotted out the hanger and welded them in. What you get is trick way to keep your stock mount and hold everything in place. Some pics for you to check out.
