Has anyone tried to install 4th gen mirrors on a 3rd gen? Can it be done?

what, are you gonna run the exhaust out the mirrors? I think that would be a PITA in the summer when the windows might be rolled down. Plus, it would get all over your cig when you ashed out the window too.
I just kidding man. You posted this in the wrong forum. I would try body, or detailing / appearance. I am sure a mod can move it there for you.

check out my link in my signature to see a couple of rough pics, otherwise do an advanced search in the red tool bar above, and check out a user by the name of "Stephen", he is doing this mod at the same time. Good results, and looks phenominal. I'm in the process of filling in the holes for the original mirrors to give the cleanest look possible. Stephen on the other hand has been blessed with a car color that duct tape comes in
. His is "reversable" which is an excellent alternative as he can switch back at any point. The triangles don't have a metal support going through the middle like fourth gen mirror triangles, but as mentioned, Stephen has succesfully done the passenger side and i've successfully done the driver side, and neither of us are having any problems, it is very tight, and doesn't vibrate with the windows down. Excellent mod that looks almost stock when done.
Mods should def move this into body.
