summit mufflers
any one have any opinion about the summit mufflers im looking at the fully welded mufflers 2.5 in and 2.5 out how do they sound tone and how loud??? i hear they are like flomasters?

I had a pair of 3" on the '57. It was louder than I liked.

never heard them, but i remember another member on here saying they are like flowmasters. The person to ask would be Nova....he has a mean 305 and used the same mufflers you are asking about.

I've heard they're built just like the 40 series Flowmasters... I haven't heard what they sound like personally.

I was poking around the garage attic last night looking for something else and came across those mufflers. The inlet/outlet is a perf'd tube with a baffle w/holes in between. Not at all like a Flow.
mw66nova built a longtube dual system he documented here using those mufflers a couple of years ago. Had vid, if memory serves.
