How about those pics of the hangers for this thing, I'm still in the dark on how to go about it.

Re: SLP Loudmouth

You cut off the stock 4thgen hangers, put the exhaust up in place and mark where the stock locations are for the hangers of the old exhaust and weld the hangers onto the marked pipe. Fairly straight forward stuff.

Ah well righton then dude. Mine came out of a '01 T/A so my hangers didn't line up in my car, just hacked them off and rewelded them where they needed to be and my exhaust was hung. Glad you got it figured out though.

oh no fun.. my passenger side i just bought an oem replacement.. i can get the part number for you tomorrow at work.. it bolted right into the stock location, i can also post pictures of the brackets/hangers for the LH/RH side of the rear for the tail pipes.. like i said.. for some reason this was the easiest install i think i've ever done.. and it's not even designed for my year.. lmao.. i had more troubles installing a hooker catback on my old L69 '85 5spd car.. lmao

i'll get you those pictures tomorrow when im at work.. i'll take pictures of both the pass and drivers side.. or maybe you can see something in my other thread pictures...

well nevermind you really cant see the hangers.. but you can see the exhaust from the ypipe back.. yes it is a full 3" from the Y back to the Y at the tail pipes. that intermediate pipe only cost me $40

If the exhaust kit is 3" pipe and the intermediate pipe is 2 1/2 wouldnt u have to get an adaptore piece?

But no muffler the guy I bought it from said he was just going to run a 3" cat and use that for back pressure and that the exhaust was a mix of multiple camaro kits. SLP wasn't very helpful in figuring out what this setup is. I don't want to put it on the car if it's going to be insanely loud. Any help would be great

the exhaust i sold u with the car has a 4th gen SLP loudmouth over the axle pipe and tailpipes/tips but the intermediate pipe is for a 3rd gen and is made by SLP but from a different kit. i did this so the exhaust would fit correctly and be made of all the same material. since the 4th gens run the Y pipe different the intermediate pipe is different, using the 3rd gen intermediate pipe solves this problem.

heres a pic of it:

Thanks for the answer but I wound up installing the exhaust on that grey 88 this summer. I actually had to graft a dynomax bullet into the intermediary pipe to make it long enough for everything to line up. Unfortunetly with no cat in the car the thing is way too loud so I'm going to have to install the cat. I know we lost contact with each other but, do you still have the K member and keys for the car?

Re: SLP Loudmouth

hmm it should have fit right unless the Y pipe was off, and yes that is why i planned on using it with a cat, way to loud without one.
