header install update
well between changes that i am goin through at work with shifts and coverage issues, i have been slowly chipping away at my hedman l/t and dual install.
i decided to change the motor mounts to polly since they are 24 yrs old. what a fvkin job that was. i just finnished putting the front suspension back together with new struts. i now have the driver side header in and mocked up to grind the A-arm alittle. i am goin to nip at it a couple hours everyday after work until i get to the weekend. i should have it running by sunday.
i have a friend at work that had a ccQ-jet from an old caprice with the 305 H.O. in it. he bought the holly reman carb. had it sitting in his closet at home for the past 10 yrs. it was never installed.
he fvkin GAVE it to me.lol. i still can't believe it. i will still rebuild mine b/c it does need it. but i won't worry about it for a while. i will also be putting on cap, rotor, coil, spark plugs, pcv, air filter and wires. this thing should run real nice when its all together.
thanks for reading.
Jay.
