Is this a good price?
Just stopped by the local muffler shop for an estimate on a new exhaust system from headers back. Guy quoted me $550 using 2.5 in pipe (not mandrel bent) with a Flowmaster 40 & chrome tips (single pipe back to muffler, duals out), no cat.
Sounds kind of high, am I getting ripped off?
Thanks!

Re: Is this a good price?
Definately too high, no buy.
Flowmaster's american thunder catback is about $450 right now, with 3" mandrel bent, and the cool tips.
Depending on what you want to do with the cat, thats up to you. If you get a catco 9118 catalytic, and a MAC y-pipe or hooker 2055 headers, it will all bolt right up.

Thanks slow90. Kind of figured that.
I can't seem to find the Flowmaster american thunder catback system for a '83 Z28. Do you know if it's available for this year?
Thanks
