Im sure most people say jsut take it off, but i want it on. Ive even modified my headers so that my smog pump will correctly hook up to them.

My problem is that i dont know where the hoses go for the smog control system. Does anyone know where these go, have pictures, or diagrams to share?

by controll system do you mean the black box with the hoses?

The hose on top goes to the smog pump through a metal pipe


If you are facing the side of the box with the hoses, the one on the left hooks to the headers. The pipes from the headers should have a y right before it.


The one on the right goes to the cat

that does help, However, I dont have the metal pipe that connects with the smog pump. Can i just run a rubber one to the smog pump?

Also, Where does the bottom hose go?

I took this unit(the black thing where allt he hoses junction) from an earlier model car. Will it still work? It was like an 86 or 87 i think.

 

I guess I should be more specific. I have a 1985 IROC Z Camaro. So far this is the most I have found.

I think the bottom one on mine goes to the smog pump. The one on top goes to the "Bypass Air to atmosphere," the right goes to the cat and the left goes to the headers. Sound likely? Anyone got any pics
