O2 relocation

Car: 1988 trans am GTA
Engine: 350 V8 tpi roller motor
Transmission: 700-R4
Axle/Gears: 3.73 b/w posi will change out soon
O2 relocation
I was wondering if any one has down this on there cars i have a 88 350 tpi engine and was going to get the 3 wire O2 sensor and was wondering since our O2 are on the driver side and the o2 is supose to tell the computer to rich or lean out but its only reading one side i was wondering if any one has done this was where the Y pipe comes into the single pipe put the O2 there kinda like the 4th gens have but one insted of 2 but get the 3 wire O2 so it is heated has any one done this if so plz let me know if it worked better worse or nothing im thinking of doing it and want some input on it as well

Yes its possible with a 3-wire heated O2 sensor but I dont know how much of a difference it will make.

it will work, but not nessisary since the o2 reads in ppm (parts per million) it wont matter if its in half the exhaust or the whole thing, its looking for a percentage of air to fuel.
