should i get rid of my muffler?
hey everyone whats up just a quick question i just recently bought a 82 camaro with a carbed 350 and im restoring and just tinkering around with it and i was saving up for an exhaust system so while i was waiting to save up all the money i started slowly cutting out the rust well before long i have the interior gutted and no floors lol and it put a hold on my exhaust system well i got all the metal made out and im just waiting on my buddy to get time to weld it up for me but my problem is.... this thing is quiet you cant hear this thing running and now im getting impatient so should i just cut the muffler off for now to make me happy it will be only a month or 2 untill i buy the exhaust? or should i just wait it out?
thanks,
john

It is rare I ever make good decisions that manifested from impatience. I'd say leave it on and wait it out another month or two.

crappy vid, my old car with no muffler and a stock cat

other option is to buy a force pro series muffler from summt for $35 (flowmaster knock off)

If you are restoring it, it is supposed to be quiet, just like it was from the factory.
