are lap joint reliable
Hawks longtubes come with no kind of flange like a normal header would. I was thinking of using a lap joint but don't know if over time they tend to flx and split or anything.
Thoughts on using this to connect the headers to the duals?

Re: are lap joint reliable
a buddy of mine is using those on his exhaust. hes been running them for i would guess over a year with no issues that i know of. they also make it easy to add/remove ur cat for smog testing. only shitty thing is the price.
