air pump removal
im having a complete exhaust done from the headers back. i got the stainless 2460s with they hooker y pipe and that new magna flow system.
the guy putting all of it in, says that the air pump is in the way and has to come out. he says he could gut it out and leave it where it is, so i dont have to change the belt, or he could remove it and try to find a smaller belt.
is this the norm when putting headers in this car and what will happen to the car when you remove the air pump?
