Jus got a new 1986 firebird trans am and i wanted to know if a which muffler is better out of these that i am goin to list. SPINTECH, FLOWMASTER, DYNOMAX, MAGNAFLOW, BORLA, EDELBROCK, HOOKER, or PACESETTER?? A guy at the exhaust shop told me that spintech is a good flowing muffler plus gives me the sound im looking for so i just wanted to know more info of which one i should get thanks bro reply to this

 

If sound is a major factor in what you are looking for check out the vid clips and sound clips either here or on youtube. This site in particular really helped me decide the sound I really liked. I like my Magnaflows, quiet while cruising but scream when you give it some gas. Mine are 4th gen but there's a third gen out there now, and I'm talking about CAT Backs.

What size motor? Cat back? Just muffler change? I'd think any you listed would meet your needs but if you are expecting big gains with just a muffler swap you may be expecting a little much
