Custom setup I finished today

Spent today routing a new exhaust setup and ditching that crappy Ypipe

Ran true duals back past the transmission, let them go into a common homemade collector, joined to said collector is a new style cat. (size of an exhaust pipe), then flows through the 3" pipe into a flowmaster 80 series

No sound clips yet, although Shel's heard it, and it sounds amazing! Better response and topend pull aswell 8)

Front down pipes, that flow back to the collector :

How they flow into collector :

Getting ready to weld it all (the cat is right on the end, so small, I love it perfect for its placement in this setup! ) :

A blind shot from the front of the car :

The "Y" and the cat feeding into the 3" Pipe :

Ill get better pictures/videos tomorrow

Tons of ground clearance no rubs, all fits like OEM

Videos :

It would prob. sound better if it wasn't still running through stock manifolds.

Pull away moderate throttle :

Couple revs :

Itll get louder as all new pipes and cat break in, but I think it sounds really tuned and performance, rather then just loud.

Still doesntdo it justice as to how it sounds in person, camera gets muffled by the air and stuff, meh, let me know what you think!

From the pictures it looks like your gonna have trouble getting that oil filter off.

Re: Custom setup I finished today

Looks nice, I would have started with headers personally..it looks like it fits pretty good, can you get some more pics up? Maybe a couple from the side showing clearance and a few clearer ones of the y at the rear?

That sounds awesome! For a while there i thought those flowmasters couldn't sound good if they were just a straight threw pipe. This has truly changed my mind.

Re: Custom setup I finished today

Looks and sounds great, but it does look like the oil filter is going to be a pain. But we really can't tell from the pictures how close it is to the pipe. Great job.

Re: Custom setup I finished today

Don't the stock manifolds dump far enough back, to make oil filter access easy? I wouldn't think it would be any harder than it is stock.
