alright im going to the shop sat morning for an upgrade from stock to 2.5 y pipe no cat to 3" down the body over axle into 3" borla with 3" single exit what can i expect to top out with horsepower wise with this setup.
engine now is stck 305 tpi t56 373 rear upgrade will be on a 350 later on

 

id say 5 hp at the most...itll be better on the 350 certainly sound better but once you drop in the 350 you might want to think about headers, thats where youll get a lot more hp...

 

I have the XR-1..... one word... LOUD !! Sounds good though.

ditto, the xr1 i had on my 383 was brutal loud but the motor is stout so its gonna be hard to tame that sound.

yours will sound good and be louder than stock thats for sure but shouldnt be over bearing

catbacks are generally good for 5-10hp depending
