The guy who owned this car before me did a terrible exhaust job. I have a new pipe for it and the mufflers new but my cat rattles like crazy, and I don't know what to do about it.
I cant see spending $150+ for a new direct fit, but don't know what I'd need to look for in a universal one (inlet/outlet sizes). plus, I dont know how good those cheap ebay cats are. I thought about hollowing it out, but don't know really what that would require, or maybe sticking a glass pack (cherry bomb) where the cat is now.

What would you guys do? I have access to a lift as i work at the Ford dealer so I'll be doing the job myself after hours.
