These Walker Cats : Why the $100 difference between the two??
Just bought two new cats as mine are sounding tinny now..
Upon purchasing I was told there were two Walker Versions (Universal fit).
Walker # 15032 - $119cdn ea. (List. $155cdn)
Walker # 15141 - $220cdn ea. (List. $318cdn)
Was told the 15032 cheaper one was not all that good and could fair Aircare and to get the 15141 which I did. $492.00 for 2 cats.
According to company websites, looks like the difference between the two is:
[Walker # 15032] (List. $155cdn)
Converter Overall Length (in): 13.25 in.
Converter Substrate Material: Ceramic honeycomb
[Walker # 15141] (List. $318cdn)
Converter Overall Length (in): 18.000 in.
Converter Substrate Material: Monolithic catalyst
So what exactly make the two different?? A $100.00 difference?? What's the pro's and con's of Ceramic honeycomb vs. Monolithic ?
Thanks
