Anyone know if there are universal dohnut gaskets available? I emailed edelbrock and they never replied. The original disintergrated and I need both. They go directly after the shorty header. I tried using silicone and It only worked for about 2 weeks. TIA

 

Just ask for a donut gasket to fit your size collector. I've replaced mine on several occassions. Found mine at Advance, Auto Zone, NAPA,etc.

 

what application did you ask for yours?

 

I've had to just go in and have them bring out various gaskets in the same diameter.. take them home find the right one, return the rest..

FWIW I never email these big companies anymore, some reply, most do not.. But I have always gotten help over the phone with them, so now I just call.

 

I just measured the old one and asked for one the same size. #6872 uses a 2.5" i.d. gasket, 6875 uses a 2.25" i.d. gasket. Those are the two Edelbrock headers I've used.
