Paint over Mac HTS coating???
So I just bought the Mac HTS coated headers, Mac y-pipe, Mac off-road pipe, and Flowmaster Force II 3" cat back. I'm happy with everything except the Mac headers. I get the headers and unwrap them and notice that the HTS coating is scratched up. It almost looks like someone tried to install them. The pics don't do justice on how bad the scratches are, but I thought I would post them anyway. I also noticed that the welds on the flanges need to be cleaned up due to the sloppy welds. Does anyone know if I could spray some of the VHT paint over the HTS coating to cover the scratches??? I'm sort of picky, I even painted my cat back with some high temp silver!

According to Mac, HTS stands for high temp spray paint. Painting over it shouldn't be a problem.
