3" in dual 3" out flowmaster

I know some people may not believe in these things but I have now seen one and have it in my possession.Fellow I got it from said it was part of an american thunder cat back system from years ago.My question about it is does anyone know anything about it`s flow capabilities? Is it worth swapping out my 80 series? Will it possibly flow as well as the magnaflow 3" in single 3" out or other magnaflows people are saying outflow the flowmasters so well?Would this be considered an 80 series?
I also have another question.I believe I am going to try out this muffler but I`m getting rid of my flowtech headers finnaly and putting on some 2460`s.Think I`ll notice a differance?

single in and out usually flow better than crossflow mufflers, but I like the sound of crossflow better, as well as the dual pipes.

I have those 80 series flowmaster it sounds good to me I just wish it was little louder. Maybe the sound would increase if I get rid of the Edelbrock headers and install a set from Dyno Don's when the house repairs are done most damage were hurricane related while the contractor was repairing roof and floor in the kitchen.

Is it the dual 3" out?I had never seen one before this one.I`m not even sure if this is considered an 80 series.

OK,I just found it on summit.Never thought to look under LS1 american thunder catback, but that looks simlar.Th e muffler doesnt look quite as big in that pic but it`s prolly the same 5x10 or so the one I have is.It also says it`s a 2.75 I pipe. The one on mine is a 3" opening into the muffler as well. Thanks for the heads up

If you are still running CATS then that will take alot out of the exhaust sound.

Yeah I've got the Ame. Thun. 3" in dual out system and I like it although it's a little quiet with stock motor and cat. Later.

Re: 3" in dual 3" out flowmaster

I just install the 3" American Thunder kit. I love the way it sounds. Its has a nice tone while cruisin but scream at WOT! My car has factory manifolds and dual cats so that helps with it not being too loud.
