is this the best bang 4 the buck?
im thinking about getting hedman y-pipe and hedman shorty headers, is that the best 4 the buck? i dont need air tube, track car. will this bolt on 2 my borla exhaust? how much horsepower will just headers give u, just a ball park figure?

assuming that you have a basically stock 305 with maybe an intake and carb I would guess in the 10-15 hp range. They will definetly help all the way through the powerband and produce more torque as well. Also if you want to go faster later on and do some really work to the motor headers are a must since cast iron manifolds are very restrictive.

These headers are fine for 450 HP. The problem is the tiny 2" Y-pipe. This will need to be redone larger if you ever get past 200 horses.
