how do u get exhausts together?

how do u get exhausts together?

i have to redo my exhaust and i have currently headers 2 straight pipes out force exhaust mufflers. the mufflers drag everything and i got me sum dmax race mufflers. i gotta cut the mufflers off and now my pipes gna be short. (im having it stop under car before axle. and i was wondering ho i can get my pipe longer without redoing the whole thing? i have 2 1/4 running back to the mufflers and the mufflers are 2 1/2. any help is appreciated

buy short lenght of whatever tubing you need, with a bell on one end, and clamp them on?

can i use a reducer and weld it flush with one pipe and have the other slip in?

Clamp
Exhaust shop

Any of those three will work.

so i can weld the collector that matches flush with the muffler and itd be fine?

you need 3 things
1.) a welder
2.) a hammer
3.) case of beer

combine those together and eventually you'll be all set. That being said any set of duals that you run is gonna hang low and probably get smashed, fairly quickly
