Alrighty, a few years ago I was go I was going to buy an 86 or 87 Iroc off a friend and it had a built 305 in it. My question is on the exhaust because I've never seen another car like it since his. It had square plates or something like that bolted on the end of the tailpipe. Does anybody know what kind of exhaust setup this is? It's been driving me crazy because I can't find anything like it and I'm interested to see if that setup is any good and possibly use it on my Firebird.

 

Sounds like the Borla catback. It has interchangable blocker plates for the passenger side tailpipe like you describe. If it didn't cost nearly a grand I'd have one on my bird.
