Exhaust problems need help
So I just bought a 1984 Z28 not too long ago and I finally put my engine in it. The engine has a seven quart Moroso pop out oil pan and I'm afraid that the exhaust is going to fry the oil in the pan since it sits so close to the oil pan. I'm pretty sure I can't run it straight back because the slave cylinder is in the way on the other side. Is there any suggestions some of you could give me?

The best suggestion I have is to use a standard oil pan and a quality synthetic oil (Mobil 1, AMSOIL, Red Line, etc. - NOT QS, Pennsoil, Vavoline, etc.).

Re: Exhaust problems need help
I bought a standard pan to replace one of those 7-quart moroso pans for a motor last week. Cost about $40. Figure about 5 oil changes and I'll have made my money back. Thread
